This site presents information learned in the process of using Drupal to develop software for avalanche forecasting. It is presented in the hope that it will be useful to somebody.

Part of the motivation for making this information available is the difficulty of learning Drupal internals. Of course it is a large and complicated code base. In addition, Drupal frequently creates the name of a function to be called by concatenating strings, making it difficult to identify the callers of a function.
